Standing on either side of Bishop Jenky are Deacon Guadalupe I. Lopez (left) and his brother, Deacon Faustino Lopez. Joinging them in the sanctuary of St. Mary's Cathedral in Peoria after their ordination as permanent deacons on May 20 are their extended families. The 24 new permanent deacons who will serve the Diocese of Peoria surround Bishop Jenky in the sanctuary of St. Mary's Cathedral in Peoria after the Mass of Ordination to the Diaconate on May 20.
