Dwight, Pontiac parishes host ‘Science Tests Faith’ Oct. 4, 5
People are invited to see what happens when “Science Tests Faith” on Sunday, Oct. 4, at St. Patrick in Dwight and Monday, Oct. 5, at St. Mary in Pontiac. Both sessions will run from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
The video presentation, subtitled “Following the Trail of the Blood of Christ,” features attorney and author Ron Tesoriero and investigative journalist Michael Willesee, who looked into reports of a consecrated Communion host that became living flesh, and a statue of Jesus that weeps real tears and sheds real blood. They also share footage of a woman who bears the wounds of the stigmata as it happens.
In addition to reporting their findings, they discuss what science has to say about each.
There is no charge to attend the sessions.
St. Patrick Church is located at 100 W. Mazon Ave., in Dwight. For more information, call (815) 584-3522.
