URBANA — Cardinal Francis E. George of Chicago and Bishop Daniel R. Jenky, CSC, will concelebrate the annual Graduation Mass on Saturday, May 16, at St. John’s Catholic Newman Center on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

“With almost 60 percent of the campus from the Chicago-land area, it’s only appropriate that we have a visit from Cardinal George, and we feel honored to host him,” said Msgr. Gregory Ketcham, chaplain and director of St. John’s Chapel and Newman Foundation.

The Mass will begin at 5 p.m. in St. John Chapel. Cardinal George and Bishop Jenky will then attend a reception at Newman Hall in honor of the graduating seniors.

Friends and students of St. John’s Newman Center are invited.
