Diocesan Traveling Monstrance will visit eight churches for Holy Hours in May
With the exception of Memorial Day, May 29, the Diocesan Traveling Monstrance will be hosted on the Mondays and Thursdays of May at eight parishes. The Holy Hours will take place at:
- May 1: St. Mary, Atlanta;
- May 4: St. Patrick Church of Merna, Bloomington;
- May 8: St. Mary, Lexington;
- May 11: St. Joseph, Flanagan;
- May 15: St. Patrick, Minonk;
- May 18: St. Mary, Wenona;
- May 22: St. Michael the Archangel, Streator; and
- May 25: St. Mary of the Field, Grand Ridge.
Each Holy Hour generally begins at 6:30 p.m. While eucharistic adoration is at the heart of the Holy Hours, they also include Scripture, a reflection, and Benediction.
