Pro-life Joshua Seminar, Camp welcome adults, teenagers in Galesburg next month
GALESBURG — Knox County Right to Life is hosting two opportunities to help high school students and adults stand up for life.
The fifth annual Joshua Seminar for adults is planned for Friday, Sept. 7, at Costa Catholic Academy, 2726 Costa Drive. It will be held from 7 to 9 p.m.
Those who have attended a Joshua Seminar in the past will receive a gift if they bring a friend to this year’s gathering.
Designed for students in eighth grade through high school, the Joshua Camp will be held on Saturday, Sept. 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The goal is to help them understand and be able to discuss why they are pro-life.
The sixth annual event will also be held at Costa Catholic Academy and include education, fun, games and fellowship. Lunch and snacks will be served, and pizza will arrive at 4 p.m.
Those who have attended the Joshua Camp in the past will receive a free sweatshirt if they bring a friend with them.
There is no cost to attend either event.
Registration is due by Sept. 4. Send your name, address, phone number and email to KCRL, 1232 N. Kellogg St., Galesburg, IL 61401, or register online at knoxcountyrighttolife.org.
