NORMAL — Marriage and “Raising Kids of All Ages” will be the topics for discussion when Dr. Ray Guarendi visits Epiphany Parish this Friday, Oct. 21, and Saturday, Oct. 22. Both presentations will be held in the parish center, 1000 E. College Ave.

The first is a “Date Night with Dr. Ray” and is planned for 7 p.m. His talk on Saturday begins at 9 a.m. and will be followed by time for questions. Both promise to be filled with humor, as well as real-life examples.

The father of 10, Guarendi is a clinical psychologist and author. His first book, “You’re a Better Parent Than You Think,” is in its 28th printing, and his newest, “Advice Worth Ignoring: How Tuning Out the Experts Can Make You a Better Parent,” was published in August.

He is also a national radio and television host. His radio show, “The Doctor Is In,” can be heard weekdays on more than 440 stations and Sirius XM channel 130, and his TV show, “Living Right with Dr. Ray,” is entering its fourth season.

There is no charge to attend Guarendi’s presentations at Epiphany, but a free-will donation will be accepted. Reservations are not required.
