St. Mary of Lourdes Parish sets soup supper, speaker series
GERMANTOWN HILLS — St. Mary of Lourdes Parish will host three evenings of fellowship and reflection in November with its Fall Soup Suppers and Speaker Series.
The evenings — on consecutive Monday nights — will be hosted at the parish hall, 424 Lourdes Church Road, and begin with a soup supper at 6 p.m. The presentations begin at 6:30 p.m. There is no admission fee, but a free will offering will be received to be donated to the Open Arms Food Pantry serving those in the Metamora Township High School District boundaries.
The scheduled topics and speakers include:
Nov. 2 — “Called to Holiness, Called to Be a Saint,” Sister Jacque Schroeder
Nov. 9 — “Our Lady’s Faithful Fiat,” Sister Mary Amanda Howard
Nov. 16 — “Thanksgiving — It’s More than Just a Day,” Joyce Heiple.
