MOLINE — The Northwest Area Cursillo community is sponsoring a Day of Renewal on Saturday, June 20, at the Believers Together Center at Christ the King Church, 3209 60th St. The theme is “The Fruit of the Spirit.”
Open to everyone 21 and older, the day begins with registration at 8 a.m. Father Duane Jack, a senior priest of the Diocese of Peoria, will explore the concept of renewal at 9 a.m.

Breakout sessions are planned for 10 and 11 a.m. Topics for the first session include “Joy and Patience,” “Generosity,” “Self-Control” and “Modesty,” while speakers for the second session will cover “Chastity,” “Peace and Goodness,” “Kindness and Charity” and “Faithfulness.”

Father Charles Klamut, pastor of St. Ambrose in Milan and a chaplain at Alleman High School in Rock Island, will talk after lunch about evangelization. There will also be time for a social hour and eucharistic adoration.
The day concludes with Mass at 4:30 p.m. in the church.
