Theology on Tap series set for Wednesday evenings in Peoria
An evening of “Stump the Bishop” with Bishop Daniel R. Jenky, CSC, highlights a summer series of Theology on Tap discussions for young adults in the Peoria area under way this month on Wednesday nights at Kelleher’s Irish Pub, 619 S.W. Water St., Peoria.
Theology on Tap offers young adults an opportunity to explore faith topics from a Catholic perspective in a casual setting. The gatherings open with fellowship and food at 6:30 p.m., with talks starting at 7. There is no charge to attend. Food and drink are available for purchase.
The series of topics and speakers for June include:
June 3 ? “Responding in Love” with Father Thomas Loya, pastor of Annunciation Byzantine Catholic Church in Homer Glen. Father Loya will speak on same-sex attraction and how to address the topic with love and compassion.
