DWIGHT — Michael James Mette, a Catholic musician and speaker, will present a concert on Sunday, May 3, in the parish hall of St. Patrick Church, 114 W. Mazon Ave. It will start at 6 p.m.

Mette tours the country with his wife, Michelle, and their six young children. Parish organizers describe his music as “a modern reflection of his faith blending alternative rock with faith-based lyrics.”

He released “Always What I Need” in 2010 and “Bring Forth the Light” in 2012. Mette’s latest album is “Arts + Humanity.”

Sponsored by St. Patrick in Dwight and Sacred Heart Parish in Campus, the concert will be about 90 minutes long and have one intermission. There is no charge to attend, but a free-will donation will be accepted.
