DWIGHT — St. Patrick Parish will host a “Surge of the Heart” Parish Mission featuring Jon Leonetti from Sunday, Feb. 15, to Tuesday, Feb. 17. All presentations will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. in the church, 100 W. Mazon Ave.

Leonetti, an international Catholic speaker, author and radio host from Des Moines, Iowa, will open the mission with “Chosen.” His topics on Monday and Tuesday are “Redeemed” and “Delivered,” respectively.

On his website, catholicparishmission.com, he shares that “our deepest longing for happiness and wholeness is fulfilled in the encounter with Jesus Christ.” Through prayer, the sacraments, family life, and the help of Mary and the saints, Leonetti wants to “cultivate an intimate relationship with Jesus, and help others to do the same.”

His books — “Mission of the Family” and “Your God Is Too Boring” — are featured in Matthew Kelly’s Dynamic Catholic Parish Book Program.
