ROCK ISLAND — Judge Thomas L. Kilbride of the Illinois Supreme Court and member of the Knights of Columbus will be the featured speaker at an annual Recognition and Honors Night sponsored by the Allouez Council Knights of Columbus.

The dinner and program will take place next Sunday, Oct. 12, at the Rock Island Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall, 3715 9th St. A social period begins the evening at 5 p.m.

During the program, the Allouez Council will honor its Knight of the Year, John L. Michalski; Family of the Year, James and Karen Wieland; and Senior Knight of the Year, John A. Justice. All are from Rock Island.
Other recognitions will go to long married couples and Knights with 25 or 50 years of membership in the council.

Tickets for the dinner are $10 per adult and $7 per child under 12. Reservations are needed by Oct. 8 and may be made by calling Dick Friedel at (309) 738-1913.
