KICKAPOO — A Memorial Mass for Sister Patricia A. Cramer, CSJ, will be celebrated on Saturday, Aug. 23, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 9910 W. Knox St., Kickapoo. The family will receive friends one hour before the Mass.

Sister Patricia, 68, died on Aug. 10, 2008, at Nazareth Living Center, St. Louis. She donated her body to St. Louis University School of Medicine for research.

A Peoria native, Sister Patricia was born June 27, 1940, to George P. and Effie M. (Earp) Cramer. She attended the Academy of Our Lady in Peoria, where she graduated as the salutatorian of her class in 1958.

A longtime educator, Sister Patricia taught in schools in Illinois and Missouri until 1998.

She is survived by one sister, Clarita Anderson, and three brothers, George Cramer, Robert Cramer and Michael Cramer, all of Edwards, and the Sisters of St. Joseph, with whom she shared her life for nearly 50 years.
