Wide invitation to Diocesan Stewardship Conference May 27
Those involved in promoting Catholic stewardship activities in parishes, schools, and institutions of the Diocese of Peoria are invited to attend the annual Diocesan Stewardship Conference on Wednesday, May 27, at the Spalding Pastoral Center in Peoria.
John Gibson, director of the Office of Development and Stewardship, said the morning is designed for pastors, development directors, and members of stewardship committees, but is open to all who are interested in the spirituality of stewardship and managing our gifts of time, talent, and treasure.
Mary Foley, of the Joliet-based Foley Consulting, will be keynote speaker on the theme “How Does Our Parish Measure-up to the Stewardship Checklist?” Addressing tools and technology will be Julie Enzenberger, website and social media administrator and staff assistant for the Office of Development and Stewardship.
The day begins with registration and a light continental breakfast at 9:30 a.m. The program begins at 10 a.m. , and concludes with a lunch at 12:15 p.m. featuring remarks from Bishop Daniel R. Jenky, CSC.
