Catholic Charismatic day of renewal planned for April 22 in Peoria
“I Am Waiting for You, Come!” is the theme for a Catholic Charismatic Renewal day of renewal planned for Saturday, April 22, at the Spalding Pastoral Center, 419 N.E. Madison Ave., in Peoria. It will begin with registration at 9 a.m. and end with prayer at 3:30 p.m.
The speakers will be Deacon Kevin Zeeb and Matthew and Cady Nosbisch. In addition to their presentations, the day offers opportunities for adoration, praise and worship, and group discussions.
Deacon Zeeb was ordained to the permanent diaconate on May 19, 2007, and serves at Blessed Sacrament Church in Morton. He has been involved in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal since 2005 and is currently the spiritual adviser to the Diocese of Peoria’s Catholic Charismatic Renewal board.
The cost for the day of renewal is $25, which includes lunch. Walk-in registration is welcome on the day of the event, but lunch may not be available.
Those who attend are asked to bring a snack to share that doesn’t require refrigeration.
