BLOOMINGTON — The “Man of the Shroud” touring exhibit will make a stop at Holy Trinity Church, 106 W. Chestnut St., from Friday, May 6, through Sunday, May 8. It is made available by the Conventual Franciscans of Marytown, the National Shrine of St. Maximilian Kolbe.

Exhibit hours at Holy Trinity are: May 6, 5-8 p.m.; May 7, 2-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m.; and May 8, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.

Many believe the Shroud of Turin is the burial cloth of Jesus. “Man of the Shroud” presents the results of a comprehensive scientific, historical and forensic study with numerous photographs and illustrations.

It is the work of the Center for the Study of the Passion of the Christ and the Holy Shroud, Msgr. Giulio Ricci, and other scientists who have spent 25 years researching the shroud.
