Dan Burke to lead half-day retreat on May 15 at St. Louis Church in Princeton
PRINCETON — “Setting the Captives Free — Spiritual Warfare and Discernment of Spirits” is the theme for a half-day retreat planned for Saturday, May 15, at St. Louis Church, 616 S. Gosse Blvd. It will be given by Dan Burke, president and founder of the Avila Institute for Spiritual Formation.
In addition to his work for Avila Institute, Burke is the author and editor of more than 15 books on authentic Catholic spirituality and cohost of Divine Intimacy Radio. Those in central Illinois may remember him as a keynote speaker for the Diocesan Summer Institute in 2016.
The retreat will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mass will be offered at 8 a.m. for those who would like to attend.
A light breakfast and snacks will be provided, and childcare will be available.
Seating is limited. If overflow seating is needed, the sessions will be livestreamed to those participants.
