Join Bishop Tylka in praying for these parishes of the diocese during May
Coadjutor Bishop Louis Tylka has been praying for each parish in the Diocese of Peoria by name, thanks to a calendar he developed with the assistance of Sister Linda Burkitt of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Immaculate Conception (Heading Avenue Franciscans). The prayer calendar also includes days special to the religious communities active in central Illinois.
In May, the parishes being remembered in prayer are:
- May 1: St. Joseph Parish, Peru
- May 2: St. Joseph Parish, Peoria
- May 6: Mary, Our Lady of Peace Parish, Orion
- May 8: St. Mary Parish, Westville
- May 11: St. Paul Parish, Danville
- May 12: St. Mary Parish, El Paso
- May 13: St. Mary Parish, Pesotum
- May 15: St. Patrick Parish, Wapella
- May 23: St. Mary of Lourdes Parish, Germantown Hills
- May 24: St. Mary of the Field Parish, Grand Ridge
- May 26: St. John the Evangelist Parish, Walnut
- May 29: St. Mary of the Woods Parish, Princeville
- May 30: Holy Trinity Parish, Cherry
- May 31: St. Patrick Parish, Sheffield
