Pray with Bishop Tylka: Here is his parish, religious community list for March

Of course a parish under the patronage of St. Patrick is on Bishop Tylka's list for March 17, St. Patrick's Day. In 2021 it will be St. Patrick Parish in LaSalle, whose historic church is pictured here.

Coadjutor Bishop Louis Tylka

Coadjutor Bishop Louis Tylka has been praying for the parishes of the Diocese of Peoria by name with the help of a prayer calendar he developed with

Sister Linda Burkitt of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Immaculate Conception — also known as the Heading Avenue Franciscans. In addition to the parishes, the calendar now includes days special to the religious communities active in central Illinois.

  • March 11: St. Patrick Parish, Galesburg
  • March 13: St. Mary Parish, Lexington
  • March 14: St. Patrick Parish, Elkhart
  • March 15: St. Patrick Parish, Elmwood
  • March 17: St. Patrick Parish, LaSalle
  • March 18: St. Joseph Parish, Ivesdale
  • March 19: St. Joseph Parish, Brimfield
  • March 20: St. Patrick Parish, Tolono

  • March 23: Holy Trinity Parish, Bloomington
  • March 25: St. John the Baptist Parish, Bradford
  • March 28: St. John’s Catholic Chapel, Champaign
