Performing in a 3:30 p.m. concert on Feb. 13 prior to the Marriage Mass at St. Mary's Cathedral will be Dr. Todd Kelly on trumpet and vocalist Maria Hercik.

All married couples are invited to get an early start on Valentine’s Day activities this weekend by attending the Diocese of Peoria’s Marriage Mass and Concert on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 13, at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Peoria.

Coadjutor Bishop Louis Tylka will be the principal celebrant of the 4 p.m. Mass and will lead the couples in a renewal of their marriage vows.

The Mass will be preceded by a concert starting at 3:30 p.m. and featuring Dr. Todd Kelly on trumpet and Maria Hercik, soprano. Dr. Kelly is a professor of music and director of jazz ensembles at Bradley University in Peoria.
