Post’s 2020 All Souls Day video features reader-submitted photos of loved ones

The Catholic Post’s 2020 memorial video for All Souls Day 2020 has been released. It features more than 40 photos of recently deceased loved ones submitted by our readers.

The video is an annual project designed to honor and inspire prayers for those who have died in the past year and to offer comfort and hope to those who love and miss them. It is released on or near All Souls Day, Nov. 2, also known as the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed.

This year, the background music is the song “No More Goodbyes,” composed and sung by Tom Dermody, editor of The Catholic Post. The featured photo is by Sam Lucero, and video production was by Daryl Wilson.

“We are deeply grateful to all who sent in photos of their loved ones for this project,” said Dermody. “It is such a meaningful project for us, and it has been an honor to correspond with the families and friends and to learn about the lives of those pictured. We pray a lot during the production process.”

The video may be viewed and shared via YouTube (below) and has also been posted for viewing and sharing on The Catholic Post’s Facebook site.
