Livestreaming continues for Masses, May Crownings, rosaries around the diocese
A growing number of parishes around the Diocese of Peoria are livestreaming Masses on Facebook, YouTube and Zoom. The following list includes information made known to The Catholic Post or found by visiting the parishes on social media. This list will be updated weekly until public Masses can be celebrated again.

- ALEDO, MATHERVILLE, VIOLA: Sunday Masses are being livestreamed from the Facebook page of Father John Thieryoung, pastor, at 8 a.m. and broadcast at 11:15 a.m. on WRMJ 102.3 FM.
- BLOOMINGTON: Sunday at 10 a.m. and noon, and Monday through Saturday at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. and Thursday at 5:30 p.m. on HT-HSP Display, the YouTube page for Holy Trinity and Historic St. Patrick, Bloomington, and St. Patrick, Wapella. They are also available at hsp-ht.org, the new website for Historic St. Patrick and Holy Trinity. The rosary will be prayed after every Mass. There is drive-up eucharistic adoration at the rectory in Wapella on Wednesday and Saturday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., and Monday through Saturday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Parish Center parking lot.
- BLOOMINGTON: Daily at 7:30 a.m., Saturday (in English) at 4 p.m., and Sunday (in Spanish) at 11 a.m. Links may be found at stmarysbloomington.org, the website of St. Mary Parish.
- BLOOMINGTON, DOWNS: Saturday at 4 p.m., Sunday at 9 a.m., and Monday through Friday at noon at St. Patrick Church of Merna on Facebook and on the parish website, stpatrickmerna.org. A Eucharistic Holy Hour is offered each Friday at 11 a.m.
- BRIMFIELD, WILLIAMSFIELD: Father John Verrier, pastor, livestreams Mass on Saturday at 5 p.m. on Facebook at St. Joseph Catholic Church Brimfield. The liturgies are posted to the parish websites, stjosephbrimfield.org and stjameswilliamsfield.org, for viewing later. St. Joseph’s sister parish is St. James, Williamsfield.
- CANTON, FARMINGTON: Daily and Sunday at 11 a.m. at Fulton County Catholics on Facebook. Various devotions are offered at 3 p.m. on Friday.
- CHAMPAIGN: Mass will be livestreamed from the rectory chapel at Holy Cross at 10 a.m. on Sunday. It can be found at holycrosscatholic on Facebook and will be posted to the parish website, holycrosscatholic.org, for viewing later.
- CHAMPAIGN: Saturday at 5:15 p.m. (from St. Boniface), Sunday at 9:30 a.m. (from St. Matthew), and Monday through Thursday and Saturday from the rectory chapel at 7 a.m., at St. Matthew Catholic Church on Facebook. A school Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 15, at 8:10 a.m. Other offerings include daily devotions at 3 p.m. and Friday Night Live at 8 p.m. each week. - CHAMPAIGN: Sunday at 10:30 a.m. from St. John’s Catholic Newman Center at the University of Illinois. It can be found at uiucnewman on YouTube. The Catholic Illini Class of 2020 Graduation Mass is planned for Sunday, May 17, at 10:30 a.m. In addition, Father Chase Hilgenbrinck, assistant chaplain, posts daily reflections on YouTube and the Divine Mercy Chaplet is livestreamed each day at 3 p.m. For links to both, visit St. John’s Catholic Newman Center on Facebook.
- CHERRY, ARLINGTON, DALZELL: Mass is being celebrated by Father Patrick Fixsen, pastor, and livestreamed at bureaucatholic.org at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. The parish cluster includes Holy Trinity, Cherry; St. Patrick, Arlington; and St. Thomas, Dalzell.
- CHILLICOTHE: Saturday at 4:30 p.m., Sunday at 8 and 10:30 a.m., and daily at 7:30 a.m. at St. Edward Church and Parish — Chillicothe, Illinois on Facebook.
- COLONA, SILVIS: Masses are livestreamed at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday and 7:30 a.m. daily from St. Patrick, Colona, and Our Lady of Guadalupe, Silvis, from the Facebook page of Father Peter Zorjan, pastor.
- DANVILLE: Sunday at 10:30 a.m., and Tuesday through Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at stpauldanville.org, the website of St. Paul Parish. The rosary/Divine Mercy Chaplet is prayed at 11 a.m., followed by eucharistic adoration from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. from Tuesday through Saturday. The Divine Mercy Chaplet is prayed at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
- EARLVILLE: Daily and Sunday at 8 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church on Facebook.
- EL PASO, BENSON: Father Robert Rayson, pastor of St. Mary, El Paso, and St. John, Benson, will livestream Mass at 4 p.m. on Saturday and at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Parish, El Paso, Illinois on YouTube. A special Mass in honor of the 125th anniversary of the baptism of Venerable Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen is planned for Tuesday, May 12, at 7:30 a.m.
- GALESBURG: Sunday at 10 a.m. and Monday through Saturday at 8 a.m. at Galesburg Catholic on Facebook or YouTube Live from the parish website, galesburgcatholic.com. (There is a link there for people who don’t have Facebook.) A Family Intentional Rosary is prayed on Thursday at 8 p.m.
- GERMANTOWN HILLS, METAMORA: Sunday at 8:30 a.m. with Father Vien Van Do as presider and 10:15 a.m. (rosary and Mass) with Father Gregory Jozefiak as presider, and daily at 11:45 a.m. at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church on Facebook, or on YouTube. - HANCOCK COUNTY: Saturday at 4 p.m., Sunday at 10 a.m., and weekdays at 8 a.m. at Hancock County Catholic Churches on Facebook. A rosary is prayed at noon and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy is prayed at 3 p.m. during the week. The Hancock County Catholic Churces include Immaculate Conception in Carthage, Sacred Heart in Dallas City, St. Mary in Hamilton, Sts. Peter and Paul in Nauvoo, and Sacred Heart in Warsaw.
- KEWANEE: Father Johndamaseni Zilimu, pastor, is livestreaming Mass at 9 a.m. on Sunday and at 8 a.m. Monday through Saturday on Facebook at Saint John Paul II Parish — Kewanee, IL.
- KICKAPOO, ELMWOOD: Sunday at 8:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Elmwood, IL on Facebook, and at 10:30 a.m. from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church and School of Kickapoo on Facebook. Father Joseph Dondanville, pastor, is celebrating Mass at 8 a.m. on weekdays.
- LASALLE: Saturday at 4 p.m., Sunday at 8 and 10 a.m. in English and noon in Spanish, and daily at 8 a.m. at LaSalle Catholic Parishes on Facebook. In addition, the rosary is prayed at 3 p.m. (English) Monday through Saturday and at 8:30 p.m. (Spanish) daily. The Divine Mercy Chaplet and Benediction are at 3 p.m. on Sunday. - LINCOLN: Saturday (Sunday Vigil Mass) at 4 p.m., and Monday through Friday at 8 a.m. at The Catholic Church in Logan County on Facebook. The Divine Mercy Chaplet is also livestreamed daily at 3 p.m. There is eucharistic adoration Sunday through Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and on Saturday from 2 to 3:30 p.m. This includes Holy Family in Lincoln, St. Mary in Atlanta, St. Patrick in Elkhart, and St. Thomas Aquinas in Mount Pulaski.
- MENDOTA: Father Peter Pilon, pastor of Holy Cross Church, will offer Mass via Zoom at the following times: Sunday at 10 a.m.; Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11 a.m.; Tuesday and Thursday at 6 a.m.; and Saturday at 8 a.m. If you haven’t used Zoom before, go to zoom.us and sign up. - MOLINE: Father Mark DeSutter, pastor, is livestreaming Masses Monday through Saturday at 8 a.m. and on Saturday (Sunday vigil) at 4 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church — Moline, Illinois on Facebook or the parish website, sacredheartmoline.org.
- MOLINE: Father Antonio Dittmer is live streaming Masses Monday through Thursday and Saturday at 8:30 a.m., Friday at 5:30 p.m., and Sunday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church Moline on Facebook.
- MONMOUTH, RARITAN: Monday through Saturday at 8 a.m., Saturday at 5 p.m., (in English) and Sunday at 10 a.m. (in Spanish), at Father Daniel McShane on Facebook and Immaculate Conception — Monmouth on YouTube. There is also morning prayer and spiritual reading at 7 a.m. and rosary at 7 p.m. daily. In addition, Father McShane has posted a series of explanatory videos about the Mass.
- MORTON: Sunday at 10 a.m. and weekdays at 9 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church — Morton, Illinois on Facebook. Msgr. Jerry Ward, pastor, also prays the rosary at 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- NORMAL: Masses will be livestreamed at 7:30 and 9 a.m. at Epiphany Catholic Church — Normal, IL on Facebook. They will be available for viewing later at epiphanyparish.com.
- OGLESBY: Father Gary Blake, pastor, is livestreaming Mass at 11 a.m. on Sunday and during the week from Holy Family Catholic Church, Oglesby, IL on Facebook. He also leads prayer at 7 p.m. each day using various litanies.
- OTTAWA CATHOLIC COMMUNITY: Masses are livestreamed at 9 a.m. at Ottawa Catholic Community on Facebook. The chapel tabernacle at St. Patrick Church has been moved to the foyer so it can be viewed from the east door of the church. The parishes in the community are St. Columba, St. Francis of Assisi, and St. Patrick.
- PEKIN: St. Joseph streams its 5 p.m. Mass on Saturdays through StreamSpot at stjosephpekin.org or YouTube. Daily Mass is also available on Monday at 6 p.m., Tuesday through Friday at 7 a.m., and First Saturdays at 8 a.m.
- PEORIA: Sunday at 9 a.m. and weekdays at 8:30 a.m. at stjudechurchpeoria.org, the website for St. Jude in Peoria. (Click on the link under “Live Streaming Mass.”) They are also available at St. Jude Catholic Church, Peoria, IL on YouTube.
- PEORIA: Every day at 8 a.m. at St. Philomena Church on Facebook or St. Philomena Peoria on YouTube. Links are also available on the parish’s website, stphils.com.
- PEORIA: Sunday at 9 a.m. and Monday through Saturday at 7:45 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church & School, Peoria, IL on Facebook or find the link at svdppeoria.com. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is available from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
- PEORIA HEIGHTS: Msgr. Jason Gray, pastor of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, is making videos of Mass available on his YouTube channel.
- PERU: Mass from St. Bede may be viewed at 10 a.m. on Sunday and at 7:45 a.m. Monday through Saturday by visiting Saint Bede Abbey on Facebook.
- PERU: Msgr. Richard Soseman, pastor, will livestream Mass in English at 4 p.m. on Saturday, and in Latin at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday on the Facebook page for Friends of the Peru Catholic Parishes. Reflections by Father John Baptist Uwigaba are posted twice a week. The parishes include St. Valentine, St. Mary and St. Joseph.
- PHILO: Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church — Philo on Facebook and stthomasphilo.org.
- PONTIAC: Father Adam Cesarek, pastor of St. Mary Parish, will livestream Mass on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on YouTube. It will be available there for viewing later.
- PRINCETON: Father Daniel Gifford, pastor, will livestream Masses on Saturday at 4 p.m.; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at noon; and Thursday at 5 p.m. from the parish Facebook page, St. Louis Parish — Princeton, IL. The videos will be posted to YouTube and the parish website, stlouisprinceton.org for viewing later. Also: On Thursday there is a Holy Hour at 3:30 p.m. followed by a rosary at 4:30 p.m.

- WYOMING: Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and Tuesday through Friday at 5 p.m. at Stark County Catholic on Facebook. There is also a Holy Hour at 10 a.m. with rosary at 10:30 a.m.
- SPANISH MASSES: See the listings for St. Mary, Bloomington; LaSalle Catholic Parishes; St. Mary Catholic Church, Moline; and Immaculate Conception, Monmouth. In addition, the Facebook page of Padre Julio Faes, a priest from Argentina assigned to Hispanic ministry in Peoria, offers a daily Mass and other devotions.
- OFFICE OF PRIESTLY VOCATIONS: Father Timothy Hepner, diocesan vocation director of recruitment, has been celebrating Masses and making them available via Facebook Live. They may be viewed at Follow Me — Catholic Diocese of Peoria, Office of Priestly Vocations.
