People are invited to join weDignify to “Celebrate Life!” on Thursday, Nov. 14, at the Spalding Pastoral Center, 419 N.E. Madison Ave., in Peoria. The event will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and feature Bonnie Engstrom.

Writer, blogger, speaker and author of “61 Minutes to a Miracle: Fulton Sheen and a True Story of the Impossible,” Engstrom will share the story of her son’s miraculous healing through the intercession of Venerable Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen. The miracle, recognized by Pope Francis in July, clears the way for Fulton Sheen’s eventual beatification.

Those who register for “Celebrate Life!” will have an opportunity to visit the tomb of Archbishop Sheen from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral, 607 N.E. Madison Ave., in Peoria. The Archbishop Fulton Sheen Museum, housed at the Spalding Pastoral Center, will also be open from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Heavy appetizers and drinks will be served at the weDignify event, which includes a brief program and appeal.
