Young adults will hear from Father Richards at Fourth Watch: Geneseo Aug. 16

Father Larry Richards will explore "Knowing God's Love" at Fourth Watch: Geneseo at 7 p.m. on Aug. 16. His talk and the social that follows wlll be held at St. Malachy Church.

GENESEO – “Knowing God’s Love” will be the theme for a talk by Father Larry Richards at Fourth Watch: Geneseo, a young adult gathering planned for Friday, Aug. 16. It will be held at St. Malachy Church, 595 E. Ogden Ave.

His talk at 7 p.m. will be followed by a social from 8 to 9 p.m. There is no cost, but a free-will donation will be accepted. Free on-site babysitting will be available.

A popular speaker, author and radio personality, Father Richards was ordained in 1989 for the Diocese of Erie, Pennsylvania. He has served as the pastor of St. Joseph Parish/Bread of Life Community in Erie since 2002.

In 2004, he established The Reason for Our Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to “spreading the Good News” by educating others about Jesus Christ and the Catholic faith through CDs, DVDs and books. Among his published works are “Be a Man! Becoming the Man God Created You to Be” and “Surrender! The Life-Changing Power of Doing God’s Will.”

He released a Catholic Men’s Bible with Our Sunday Visitor in 2014, and a Scripture devotion calendar, “No Bible, No Breakfast! No Bible, No Bed!”

Father Richards hosts “The Reason for Our Hope” and a live show, “Open Line,” both on EWTN Radio. He also has a show, “Changed Forever with Father Larry Richards,” on Relevant Radio.
