Bicycling pro-life missionaries will stop in Ottawa, Peoria on Wednesday, Thursday

A team of bicycling pro-life missionaries riding from Green Bay, Wisconsin, to St. Louis, Missouri, will be making stops in Ottawa and Peoria this week.

The public is invited to meet, pray with, and hear from the riders at the following sites and dates:

  • Ottawa — Wednesday, July 10, at St. Patrick Church, 632 Jefferson St. Mass will be celebrated at 6 p.m., followed by a potluck dinner and program in the parish hall at 6:45 p.m.
  • Peoria — Thursday, July 11, at St. Joseph Newman Center, Bradley University, starting at 4:30 p.m. with a Holy Half-Hour. A Mass for Life is set for 5 p.m., followed by a potluck dinner at 6 p.m.

The team passing through the diocese is one of four national teams set to converge in St. Louis for a Celebration of Life. Team members witness to the pro-life movement and spread the good news of pregnancy resource centers that support women and families.
