EAST MOLINE — As part of its centennial celebration, St. Anne Church is hosting a day of reflection on Saturday, June 8. The theme is “Amazing Grace” and the speaker will be radio show host Gus Lloyd.

Participants are invited to gather from 8 to 9 a.m., when Lloyd’s first presentation will begin. He will talk about his own conversion story and follow up with presentations on “Seeds of Grace,” “Defending the Faith,” and “Taking the Faith to Others.”

The day will end with a blessing at 3:30 p.m. Those who attend are welcome to stay for the parish Mass at 4 p.m.

Lloyd is the host of “Seize the Day,” which can be heard daily on SiriusXM, Channel 129, also known as the Catholic Channel. He writes a 60-minute reflection that is a daily meditation on the Scriptures and has authored many books, such as “A Minute in the Church” and “Magnetic Christianity: Using Your God-Given Gifts to Build the Kingdom.” The books will be available for purchase.

There is no cost to attend the day of reflection and no pre-registration is required. Lunch will be provided for a free-will offering.
