St. John Summer Conference weekend invites young adults for events May 24-26

PRINCEVILLE — “God is Love, Light and Life” is the theme for the 2019 St. John Summer Conference, which will be held from Friday, May 24, to Sunday, May 26. It is being hosted by the Family of St. John, which includes the Brothers of St. John, the Apostolic Sisters of St. John and the Contemplative Sisters of St. John.

The community’s campus is based at 11223 W. Legion Hall Road.

Young adults who attend will have an opportunity for eucharistic adoration, vespers and outdoor Stations of the Cross on Friday. Conference talks, break-out sessions and small group discussions are planned for Saturday, and there will be Mass, a eucharistic procession through the property, and an extended period of adoration.

The conference ends with another conference talk, Mass and lunch on Sunday.

The Liturgy of the Hours and lectio divina will be offered throughout the weekend.

The suggested donation is $55, although other levels are available for those who may need assistance or donors who would like to help.
