Looking for a Lenten fish fry? Consult this list, add to it if we’ve missed yours

BLOOMINGTON: The Knights of Columbus, Father Joseph Boylan Jr. Council No. 15175, will have a fish fry on Fridays through April 7, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Corpus Christi School, 1909 E. Lincoln. The menu includes cod (all you can eat) or cheese pizza, baked potatoes, coleslaw, and dessert. The cost is $9 for adults and $5 for children.
CHILLICOTHE: Knights of Columbus Council 8020 will have a fish fry on Friday, April 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. in Longman Hall at St. Edward Church, 1216 N. Sixth St. The menu includes walleye (all you can eat), bread, coleslaw, baked beans and soft drinks. Desserts and beer will also be available. Meals are $9 for adults and $6 for children 10 and younger or $25 per family. Carryouts may be ordered by calling Jim Butler in advance at (309) 258-2691.
EAST PEORIA: The Knights of Columbus will hold a fish fry on Friday, April 7, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at St. Monica’s Hall, 303 Campanile Drive. In addition to the fish (all you can eat), the meal includes a baked potato, lettuce salad and rolls. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children. Hot dog plates are $3. The proceeds will be donated to the Msgr. E. L. Grzybowski Community Charities.
ELMWOOD: St. Patrick Church, 802 W. Main St., will be holding its annual fish/shrimp fry dinners on the Fridays of Lent through April 7, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. In addition the fish or shrimp, the menu includes baked potatoes or french fries, applesauce, coleslaw, roll, drink and homemade desserts. The cost is $9 for adults and $4 for children.
EUREKA: The Men’s Club of St. Luke Church, 904 Reagan Drive, will hold a fish fry on Friday, April 7, from 4 to 6:30 pm. The meal (all you can eat) also includes hushpuppies, potato salad, green beans, bread and drinks. The cost is $10 for adults and carryouts, and $5 for children younger than 12. Desserts prepared by the Ladies Guild will be available for purchase.
GENESEO: The Knights of Columbus, St. Malachy Council No. 7817, will sponsor a fish fry on Friday, April 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the parish hall, 595 E. Ogden Ave. Freewill donations will be accepted for the all-you-can eat meal of fish, coleslaw, baked potato and beverages.
LINCOLN: The Lincoln Knights of Columbus, Council No. 1250, will hold a fish fry on every Friday of Lent, including Good Friday, April 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 217 Limit St. The cost is $9 for catfish and $8 for walleye. Both meals come with a choice of french fries or baked potato and coleslaw or baked beans. Proceeds will be used to award a scholarship to a Catholic high school senior in Logan County.
MACOMB: The Knights of Columbus, Pierre Gibault Council No. 682, will have a Lenten catfish fry every Friday through April 14, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the gym of St. Paul School, 322 W. Washington St. The cost is $9 for a dinner with choice of fried whole catfish, pollock or tuna casserole, two sides, a drink and dessert, and $5 for a child’s meal of grilled cheese or pizza, one side, a drink and dessert. Grilled cheese and extra sides will be available a la carte.
MONMOUTH: The Monmouth Council of the Knights of Columbus is planning a fish fry for every Friday through April 7, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 120 S. Sunny Lane. The meals will be served from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The cost is $11.50 for adults and $6.50 for children. There will also be a cheese pizza option for the children. Carryouts will be available.
PEORIA: St. Bernard Church, 509 E. Kansas St., will hold a fish fry on the remaining Fridays of Lent from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The cost is $9 for an adult meal with fried catfish, fried or baked cod, or fried shrimp, and a choice of baked potato, french fries or potato salad, coleslaw and bread. A light adult meal or child’s meal is $4. Carryouts will be available.
PEORIA: The Knights of Columbus, St. Clement Council, will offer a fish fry on the remaining Fridays of Lent from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at St. Jude Church, 10811 N. Knoxville. A family meal (unlimited children and up to two adults) is $30. The cost is $10 for individual meals of fried or baked fish (all you can eat), $12 for a shrimp dinner, and $5 for a child’s meal of cheese pizza or macaroni and cheese. All dinners include fries, salad bar, coleslaw and potato salad.
