Macomb Vicariate Harvest Mass draws grateful crowd to St. Augustine Church
ST. AUGUSTINE — Several area parishes were represented when a Harvest Mass for the Macomb Vicariate was hosted Nov. 15 by St. Augustine Parish here.
“It was a great opportunity to give thanks to almighty God for the bountiful harvest and to see other Catholics from different parts of the vicariate,” said Father Dominic Vitaliano, pastor of St. Augustine Parish as well as St. Bernard Parish in Bushnell.
Msgr. Richard Pricco, pastor of St. Paul Parish in Macomb and vicar of the Macomb Vicariate, was homilist. Also concelebrating was Father Daniel Ebker, pastor of St. Mary Parish in Canton.
The organist was Joan Blindt from St. Patrick Parish, Raritan.
The evening continued with a meal catered by Main St. Café in Avon and featuring desserts made and donated by members of St. Augustine Parish.
