Mercy theme for spiritual retreat for Catholic medical personnel set Feb. 6

PRINCEVILLE — Catholic medical personnel are invited to a spiritual retreat on Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Congregation of St. John Priory, 11223 W. Legion Hall Road.

“Finding an Oasis of Mercy in Our Vocation” is the theme of the retreat, sponsored by the Peoria Guild of the Catholic Medical Association as well as Our Lady of Perpetual Help Guild of Bloomington-Normal.

Presenting the retreat will be Father Joseph Mary Brown, CSJ. Physicians, their spouses, residents, medical students, nurses and other interested medical personnel are welcome to attend.

The retreat opens with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in the Brothers’ chapel. Talks are scheduled at 11 a.m. and noon, followed by lunch with the Brothers provided by the CMA guilds. The retreat ends at 1:30 p.m.
