MOLINE — Sacred Heart Church, 1608 13th St., will host ecumenical Advent vesper services on the following four Sundays at 4 p.m.

Those attending will experience prayerful music, inspiring reflections and quiet amidst the busyness of holiday activities.

Father Rober McAleer of Bettendorf, Iowa, offered the opening reflection on Nov. 29. Other presenters include:

Dec. 6 — Mary Lach, Sacred Heart Parish, Moline
Dec. 13 — The Rev. Roger Hungerford, pastor, All Saints Episcopal Church, Moline
Dec. 20 — Sister Johanna Rickl, president, Congregation of the Humility of Mary, Davenport, Iowa. (A reception of cookies, coffee and punch will follow this vesper service.)
