MANITO — To show their gratitude for the “generosity and enthusiasm” of their neighbors in Manito and friends throughout central Illinois, members of Immaculate Conception Parish here will hold a “Thanksgiving Open House” on Sunday, Nov. 15, in their new church and fellowship hall, 505 S. Adams.

It will begin at 3 p.m. in the church sanctuary, where Father David Whiteside, pastor, will talk about the historical and religious significance of the church’s structure, features and decorations. An ecumenical prayer service will follow.

Visitors will have an opportunity to explore the building and enjoy a meal in the parish hall. All are welcome. No reservations are required.
