GALESBURG — The Women’s Pregnancy Center of Galesburg and the Women’s Care Center of Peoria will benefit from the Community Baby Shower and Brunch, which will be held Saturday, Aug. 1, from 8 to 10:30 a.m. in Lake Storey Shelter No. 3.

Volunteers from both centers will be honored during the event, which is sponsored by Knox County Right to Life.

All baby and maternity items are welcome, including gently used items. Organizers promise that monetary donations will be “put to good use.”
