BENSON: The Knights of Columbus, St. Francis of Assisi Council No. 4293, will have fish frys on Fridays, Feb. 20 and 27, and March 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Benson American Legion, 121 N. Main St. The menu includes walleye (all you can eat), french fries, coleslaw, applesauce, and a drink. The cost is $8 for adults and $6 for children ages 5 to 12. Proceeds will benefit the council’s charitable causes.
BLOOMINGTON: St. Mary School, 603 W. Jackson, will host a fish fry on Friday, Feb. 20, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. In addition to the fish (all you can eat), the menu includes potatoes, green beans, dessert and a drink. Tickets for adults are $7 if purchased in advance or $8 at the door. The cost for children, ages 6 to 13, is $5. Children 5 and younger eat for free. DALZELL: St. Thomas More Parish, 302 Chestnut St., is planning a fish fry for Friday, Feb. 20, from 5 to 7:30 p.m., in the parish hall. The menu includes fried fish, french fries, coleslaw, bread, a drink and dessert. The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children ages 5 to 10. Children younger than 5 eat for free.
EAST PEORIA: The Knights of Columbus will hold a fish fry on Friday, Feb. 27, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at St. Monica’s Hall, 303 Campanile Drive. In addition to the fish (all you can eat), the meal includes baked potatoes, lettuce salad and rolls The cost is $7.50 for adults and $3.50 for children. Hot dog plates are $3. The proceeds will be donated to the Msgr. E.L. Grzybowski Community Charities.
MENDOTA: The Knights of Columbus will sponsor fish fry Fridays at the Mendota Elks Club on Feb. 20 and 27 and March 6, 13, 20, and 27. The cost is $10 for an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring boiled and fried fish, baked potato, boiled potatoes and onions, or french fries, coleslaw, dinner rolls, soft drink and dessert. A children’s meal of grilled cheese and fries is also available for $3. For carry-out orders, call (815) 910-6176.
MONMOUTH: The Monmouth Knights of Columbus will hold a fish fry every Friday from Feb. 20 to March 27 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 120 S. Sunny Lane. Meals will be served from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Carry-outs are available. The cost is $11 for adults and $6.50 for children.
NAUVOO: Alleman Council 1853 of the Knights of Columbus is planning fish frys for Fridays, Feb. 27 and March 13, at 5:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 1279 Mulholland St. The menu includes fried catfish fillets, potato salad, coleslaw and vegetarian baked beans, with pie for dessert. Carry-outs will be available. A free-will donation will be accepted. Proceeds will benefit the council’s charitable causes.
PEORIA: The Knights of Columbus, Spalding Council No. 427, will host a Lenten fish fry every Friday during Lent from 5 to 7 p.m. at the club on Radnor Road off Willow Knolls Road. Prices are $10 per adult or $5 per child’s portion. The menu includes a choice of whole catfish, catfish fillet, fired shrimp or baked cod, child’s macaroni and cheese, baked potato, french fries or potato salad, coleslaw, bread and butter and beverage.
PRINCETON: St. Louis School will offer Friday Lenten fish frys from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at 616 S. Gosse Blvd. The dinners feature all-you-can-eat fish, fried or baked potatoes, beverage and dessert. For carry-outs, call (815) 872-8521 after 3 on Fridays.
