Founder of JustFaith to lead mission this week in Geneseo
GENESEO — Jack Jezreel, founder and executive director of JustFaith Ministries, will present a parish mission from Monday, Nov. 3, to Wednesday, Nov. 5, at St. Malachy Church, 595 E. Ogden Ave. His presentations will be at 7 p.m. each day.
The theme for the mission is “The Spirit of Pope Francis” and Jezreel’s talks will focus on “An Abundant Love,” “An Abundant Life” and “An Abundant Mission.” Each session will be followed by a social ministry fair to give people an opportunity to learn about various organizations and find out how to get involved.
Everyone is invited to attend the mission, which is being hosted by St. Malachy Parish and its JustFaith group.
Jezreel started JustFaith in 1989, while working in a parish in Louisville, Kentucky. Since then, more than 30,000 people have participated in JustFaith programs at 1,500 parishes around the country. The goal is to “transform people and expand their commitment to social ministry.”
