Time is running out to submit a photo of a recently deceased loved one for inclusion in an All Souls Day video tribute being produced by The Catholic Post.

The tribute is designed to honor and inspire prayer for Catholics around the Diocese of Peoria who have died since Oct. 1, 2013.

Photos must be received by Monday, Oct. 20, to be considered for the video, which will be released on The Catholic Post’s web page on All Souls Day, Nov. 2.

Last year, 50 photos were included in the tribute video, which has been viewed nearly 1,700 times on YouTube and is reposted above.

To submit a photo for the 2014 video, send a digital image by email to tdermody@cdop.org, or a print by mail to The Catholic Post, PO Box 1722, Peoria, IL 61656. Please include the deceased’s parish and date of death. If you wish the print photo to be returned, include a self-addressed envelope.

Clear photos that reflect the personality of the individual are preferred for this project. Ideally they should be of the individual only, rather than a couple or group shot.
