Fourth showing of “Mary of Nazareth” set in Peoria Jan. 1

A fourth date for showing the new film “Mary of Nazareth” at Landmark Cinemas in Peoria has been added by organizers for 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1, the solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God.

In addition, a limited number of seats remained as of The Catholic Post’s deadline for a screening at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15. Sold-out showings took place on Dec. 7 and 8.

The feature-length film, distributed by Ignatius Press, depicts the mother of Christ from her childhood through the resurrection of Jesus. Proceeds from the screenings benefit the Women’s Care Center in Peoria.
