Classical pianist and musician Eric Genuis will perform a concert to benefit the building fund for Immaculate Conception Church in Manito on Sunday, Oct. 6. It will be held at 2 p.m. at the Spalding Pastoral Center in Peoria.

The world-renowned composer and concert pianist will be joined by Gabriel Beistline on cello and Maureen Murchie on violin. The vocalist will be soprano Francesca Sola.

All proceeds from the concert will be used to build a new Catholic church and parish hall in Manito. Construction is expected to begin this fall.
