LACON — St. Joseph’s Home of Lacon, 401 Ninth St., will host a Memorial Mass on Monday, July 29, at 4 p.m. It will take place in the chapel.

The Mass is for the members of St. Joseph’s family who died from January through June of this year. Organizers said the liturgy is an expression of the belief that all human life is precious and should be celebrated, even after death.

Family members and guests are invited to continue the commemoration of their loved ones over the refreshments and fellowship that will follow Mass.
