During the Mass, Bishop Daniel R. Jenky, CSC, ordained Deacon Chase Hilgenbrinck, Deacon Matthew Hoelscher, Deacon Corey Krengiel, and Deacon Kyle Lucas to the transitional diaconate, and Deacon James Brewer to the permanent diaconate.

Priesthood ordination is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Peoria.
