Gay marriage topic Jan. 31 for Ottawa Theology on Tap

OTTAWA — A short talk by Father Michael Driscoll on natural law and the concept of gay marriage will open the spring series of Theology on Tap here on Thursday, Jan. 31.

Father Driscoll is chaplain of OSF Saint Elizabeth Medical Center.

The talk begins at 6:30 p.m. at JJ’s Pub, 104 W. Main St. in downtown Ottawa, and will be followed by a question and answer session. There is no charge to attend the talk, and refreshments may be purchased from the menu.

The Theology on Tap series continues on Feb. 28 with a discussion on Catholic health care led by Stephen Mattern of OSF Healthcare, and on March 28 with Mary Massingale of the Catholic Conference of Illinois discussing state politics and legislation.
