ROCK ISLAND — “The Art of Faith,” a sacred art show and sale, will take place the weekend of Feb. 18-19 at Farrell Hall of St. Pius X Church, 2901 24th St.

Planned by a local group of art enthusiasts interested also in promoting the Catholic faith, the exhibit will feature a dozen local artists of different media: drawings, paintings, photography, and mixed media. In addition, St. Cecilia’s Children will provide vocal, harp and guitar music.

The event is free and open to the public. Hours are from 2 to 7 p.m. on Satruday, Feb. 18, and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19. Twenty percent of the artists’ sales will be donated to St. Pius X Parish.
