Communities to host public square rosary rallies Oct. 15

Several communities in the Diocese of Peoria are planning Public Square Rosary Rallies at noon on Saturday, Oct. 15, to pray for various needs of the church and the United States.

Sponsored by the group America Needs Fatima, the hour-long rallies feature recitation of the rosary and singing of hymns outdoors at a significant, visible location in the community.

Among the stated intentions are for conversion, wisdom for national leaders, an end to abortion and pornography, and the defense of marriage.
