Anyone who has made a Cursillo is invited to take part in a Day of Renewal sponsored by Peoria-area Cursillo on Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Spalding Pastoral Center in Peoria.

The cost is $12 per person and includes lunch.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. at the pastoral center, located at 419 N.E. Madison Ave. Mass follows at 8:30 a.m., and the program will end by 3 p.m.

Planners say the day is designed for those who want to renew their original Cursillo experience but may not feel comfortable being on a team, as well as those who have been on teams and want to experience renewed spirituality.
