BLOOMINGTON — Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Peoria is planning a workshop in Bloomington on Saturday, April 9 to clarify the process of adopting orphans from Haiti.

Haitian authorities recently announced they are accepting new adoption applications. According to Catholic Charities, the process can be challenging and applicants must comply with all Haitian and United States regulations.

The April 9 workshop will take place from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Parish Center, 711 N. Main St. in Bloomington. The contact person is Jennifer Walls, (309) 829-6307.
