Feminists for Life president to speak at Bradley U. Feb. 17
Serrin M. Foster, president of Feminists for Life of America, will answer the question “Is it possible to be a feminist and be pro-life?” during a presentation next Thursday, Feb. 17 at Bradley University.
The lecture, which begins at 7 p.m. in Baker Hall, Room B51, is sponsored by the BU Students for Life.
Serrin has led Feminists for Life of America since 1994. She is an outspoken opponent of pregnancy discrimination and has focused on developing on-campus resources and support for underserved pregnant and parenting students.
Her lecture at Bradley will address 200 years of pro-life feminism and how the modern women’s movement came to support abortion.
