SPEAKERS’ BACKGROUND
The Sisters of Life is a New York-based religious community founded in 1991 by the late Cardinal John O’Connor. Members take the same vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience as all religious communities, but they are also consecrated under a special fourth vow to protect and enhance the sacredness of human life.
Fulwiler is an atheist-turned-Catholic whose blog, “Conversion Diary,” has more than 4,500 subscribers. A Texas native, she is a columnist for Envoy magazine and is a regular guest on EWTN’s morning show. Her blog may be found at www.conversiondiary.com.
In addition to singing, Miller is an instrumentalist proficient on guitar, piano, and mandolin. Before writing and recording her own material, she performed bluegrass and Celtic music with her sister at fairs and festivals.
