St. Paul’s Letter to the Romans is the topic for a 25-week Bible study that will be offered this fall at St. Jude’s Church, 10811 N. Knoxville Ave.

Part of the Catholic Scripture Study program, the course will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Tuesdays, starting Sept. 21. The classes include group discussion, a video lecture, prayer and weekly student preparation, with notes coming from Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, papal encyclicals and teachings from the Fathers and Doctors of the church.

No prior Bible study experience is necessary, although participants should have a Catholic Bible and a copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

The fee for the course is $53, which includes lesson materials. A limited number of need-based scholarships are available. Moms with babies and toddlers may join the moms-only small group.
