GALESBURG — Five years ago, Knox County Right to Life started a community baby shower and brunch to benefit the Women’s Pregnancy Center of Galesburg. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 7, at Lake Storey Park, Shelter 3.

It will be held from 8 to 10:30 a.m. and those who attend are invited to bring diapers and other items that can be placed in a layette. Also welcome are gently used maternity clothes, car seats, bassinets, changing tables, baby cribs and mattresses.
