Catholic Charities sets regional seminars on orphans, adoption
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Peoria is inviting people throughout central Illinois to “Be the Answer” for children around the world who have been orphaned.
As a member of the Joint Council of International Child Services, Catholic Charities has prepared a two-hour seminar that will be presented at five locations throughout the diocese in July and August. The goal is to raise awareness of the orphan crisis in the United States and abroad, and offer practical ways that people can help — including becoming a foster or adoptive parent.
